Since 1962, Matarel has been an old-school Milanese institution in the heart of Brera, known above all for its legendary ossobuco with saffron risotto — rich, buttery and meltingly tender. The atmosphere recalls a bygone Milan, once a gathering place for artists, politicians and writers, and still today a timeless spot where tradition is preserved with authenticity.
