Review

Founded in 1947 in Japan, Minamoto Kitchoan is known for introducing Japanese wagashi to the world. The Piccadilly London branch is the only Minamoto Kitchoan shop in Europe. Aside from a few kinds of mochi produced locally, most of the wagashi, pastries, and baked goods are made in Japan, where Minamoto Kitchoan has six factories and fruit farms. The beautifully packed mochi and other wagashi are of excellent quality and always make a nice gift. Besides traditional flavors such as matcha, the wagashi shop offers an array of seasonal flavours.
