Himi, a neo-izakaya by chef couple Tamas Naszai and Tomoko Hasegawa, who previously ran Roji Omakase together. Located on a busy street in Soho, Himi is much more relaxed and casual than their former project, but the quality of cooking remains top-notch. The cuisine is contemporary Japanese, featuring excellent ingredients that Tamas and Tomoko have been sourcing from their previous restaurant days. The thoughtfully constructed menu includes starters such as tofu with enoki mushroom tempura, curly kale and cavolo nero salad, sushi, excellent temaki, and various grilled fish, vegetables, and Wagyu dishes prepared on a grill right in front of you.
