Review

Modern British bistro Dorian is the brain child of Chris D’Sylva, the man behind the hugely successful Notting Hill Fish Shop. Less than three years after the opening, Dorian has received a Michelin star and established itself as a neighbourhood institution, where chef Max Coen (former sous chef at Ikoyi) and his team are cooking simple, honest food from the best ingredients one can find in the UK. Although the restaurant’s grill, exemplified by the pictured world-class ribeye and sirloin, is the main focus, other dishes such as the beef tartare, crab rösti and native lobster, as shown in other photos, are equally superb.
