One of the best and most consistent fine dining restaurants in Marseille—and perhaps one of the most underrated—Une Table au Sud enjoys a prime location facing the port, with postcard-perfect views of the vibrant city. Marseille-born chef Ludovic Turac, who has Armenian roots, trained at some of Paris’s most prestigious kitchens, including the three-Michelin-starred Le Bristol and Guy Savoy, before opening his own restaurant and becoming the youngest chef in France to earn a Michelin star. His cooking is precise, elegant, and deeply rooted in Provençal traditions, with a subtle Armenian influence—like the excellent house-made Armenian bread. A true gem, and a must-visit when in Marseille.
