Rovello has deep family roots that trace back to 1950, when great-grandfather Pierino earned a Michelin star for his straightforward, ingredient-driven cooking. The passion was carried forward by Patrizia and then by her daughter Cinzia, who became a respected chef and, in 2002, founded Rovello 18 together with her partner Gualtiero, a wine lover with a discerning palate.
Today the legacy continues with Michele, Cinzia’s son. After refining his skills abroad, he has returned to Milan to lead the trattoria into a new chapter. Now relocated to Via Ariberto 3, Rovello remains true to its heritage, offering refined yet authentic cuisine paired with one of the city’s most carefully curated wine lists.
