Opened in 1994 in the small hamlet of Santa Lucía, near Vejer de la Frontera, Castillería is a countryside restaurant centred entirely around fire and high-quality meat. Surrounded by water channels, greenery and the sound of birds from the nearby spring, the setting feels calm and deeply connected to nature.
The heart of the place is the wood-fired grill, which burns continuously and fills the room with the scent of embers. The menu focuses on carefully selected cuts cooked over the parrilla, where the flavour of the meat and the purity of the grill are all that matter.
