Restaurante Hermanos Alba, Mariscos y pescados

A family run seafood restaurant in El Palo, Hermanos Alba is centred on the daily catch from the Andalusian coast. Manuel Alba leads the kitchen, while his son Juanma sources much of the fish and shellfish from local markets, particularly Caleta de Vélez and Motril. The menu changes with availability, with anything from quisquillas, coquinas and Málaga prawns to wild fish, simply grilled, fried or cooked a la sal. Traditional local dishes such as gazpachuelo and fried boquerones are also part of the repertoire. The cellar is unusually extensive, with more than 700 wine references.
