Macau is probably the best Italian restaurant in Ibiza, a long-time favourite among both locals and regular visitors. Set in the charming village of Santa Gertrudis, it has a warm, relaxed atmosphere, especially in summer when the garden becomes one of the nicest places to sit. The cooking is straightforward and ingredient-led, focusing on honest Italian dishes made with care. A highlight is the cotoletta milanese — thin, crisp and generously sized.
