At 133 rue de Turenne in the Marais, master chocolatier Jacques Genin runs a luminous café and workshop where every creation is made by hand. Renowned for his silky chocolates with flavours like licorice, lime and ginger, he is equally celebrated for his caramels, muscadines with cognac, and decadent hot chocolate. The space, with its exposed brick and marble counters, feels as much a laboratory as a salon, embodying both craft and elegance.
