Review

Located on Waterloo Place in St James’s, Imperial Treasure occupies a former banking hall, where high ceilings and restrained interiors create a composed setting for traditional Chinese cooking. It  was founded in Singapore in 2004 and has since developed into an international group, with restaurants in cities such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Tokyo, London, and Paris. The London address reflects the group’s emphasis on classical Chinese cuisine, with a particular focus on Cantonese traditions.

The menu includes a wide range of dim sum, a well executed Peking duck served in stages, and a strong seafood offering, from lobster and prawns to traditional noodle and rice dishes.

Certainly, one of the best Cantonese in London.
