A local institution for almost six decades, Eduardo das Conquilhas is one of the classic seafood houses of the Cascais area. Founded by Sr. Eduardo, it built its reputation on freshness, generosity and a deep respect for traditional Portuguese marisqueira cooking.
The menu centres on the essentials — conquilhas, amêijoas, mexilhões, ostras, gambas, sapateira recheada, lagosta and lavagante — prepared simply and well, relying on years of practice rather than embellishment. Hearty staples such as arroz de tamboril, açorda and bacalhau estalado complete the offering.
