Desde 1911 is one of Madrid’s most exceptional seafood restaurants, created by Pescaderías Coruñesas as a tribute to the family’s century-old connection to the sea. Its origins trace back to María Juliana Azpíroz, Evaristo García and generations of Maragato fishmongers whose work helped turn Madrid into the country’s leading hub for top-quality fish and shellfish.
Today, the restaurant reflects that legacy with a daily-changing menu shaped entirely by the finest catch arriving from Spain’s coasts — often less than twenty-four hours after being landed. Nordic in spirit, the space is arranged around three areas: a bright dining room facing the open kitchen, a central garden patio for aperitifs and sobremesa, and an intimate private room.
