Meilleur Ouvrier de France Joseph Viola oversees three Daniel & Denise restaurants — in Créqui, Vieux Lyon, and Croix-Rousse — all awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand, as well as an épicerie in Villeurbanne. His goal: to honour the great classics of French cuisine with finesse, generosity, and a convivial spirit. From his world-champion pâté en croûte to the pike quenelle with Nantua sauce, volaille de Bresse with morels, and tarte tatin with Saint-Genix pralines, each dish celebrates craftsmanship and taste. An institution where Lyon’s culinary tradition remains as vibrant as ever.
