Open since 1894, San Ginés is the place to go for churros in Madrid. Tucked in a narrow alley near Puerta del Sol, it’s been serving thick hot chocolate and freshly made churros around the clock for more than a century. The space is simple, with marble tables and old school charm, but it’s always busy — especially after a night out or early in the morning. It may be on every tourist map today, but locals still come for what many consider the best churros in the city.
