Set in the former kitchens of the Hostellerie de Levernois, a historic house dating from 1750, Le Bistrot du Bord de l’Eau retains its original stone walls and large double-sided fireplace. In winter, the fire is lit; in summer, tables move outside to the terrace along the Bouzaise river, which runs through the property’s park.
The menu is firmly Burgundian, with dishes such as snails in a mild garlic broth and œufs en meurette made with Chardonnay, alongside seasonal meat, fish and vegetable dishes.
