Review

Alliance is a two Michelin-starred restaurant on Paris’s Left Bank, just a short walk from Notre-Dame. Opened by chef Toshitaka Omiya and front-of-house director Shawn Joyeux, it has earned a reputation for highly personal fine dining built around seasonal produce and precise, contemporary French cooking with subtle Japanese influences.

The open kitchen places the chefs at the centre of the experience, while the menu changes with the seasons, reflecting the ingredients available from the restaurant’s trusted producers. Every detail, from the cooking to the wine pairing and service, is carefully considered, creating one of Paris’s most consistently rewarding dining experiences.
