Review

Founded in 1956 as a small casa de pasto, Ramiro evolved into a full marisqueira when Sr. Ramiro began introducing shellfish to the menu — a shift that defined its identity. Together with his wife, he expanded and modernised the space, focusing entirely on seafood.

Today, Ramiro is one of Lisbon’s most famous marisqueiras, known for the quality of its shellfish, its fast, lively service and its consistent value. A classic address for prawns, clams, crab and the straightforward, no-frills seafood the city is loved for.
