Review

Opened in 1959, and one of the many institutions in San Sebastián, La Viña is especially renowned for its Basque burnt cheesecake—an absolute must-try when pintxos crawling. The creamy cheesecake, which has been copied around the world and inspired many to make their own versions, is caramelized on top and almost runny in the middle, making it a perfect treat after an eating extravaganza. Be prepared to queue for it during peak hours.
