Club 55 has been a legendary fixture on Pampelonne Beach since 1955—and remarkably, the legend still holds strong. Despite its scale and fame, the quality remains impressively good. It’s a bit overpriced, sure—but then again, what isn’t in Saint-Tropez?
The kitchen serves simple, beautifully fresh dishes, many made with vegetables from the restaurant’s own gardens at Vallon des Bouis, Château de la Mole, and Domaine de Piégros. For a true taste of Club 55, go for the panier de crudités with anchoïade, artichoke with vinaigrette, Pampelonne salad, and a grilled catch of the day—like John Dory or seabass. Booking ahead is essential.
