In a world where branding, PR, and profit often take precedence, it is both refreshing and uplifting to know that restaurants like La Telline still exist. Lost among the rice fields in La Camargue, this gem has been run by Chef Jean-Paul Sanchez and his wife Florence for more than thirty years. It specializes in simple cooking using excellent local ingredients, which this wild corner of France has in abundance, both from the land and the sea, all served with warm hospitality.
Please note that it’s cash only, and there is no ATM anywhere nearby, so be sure to bring some cash with you.
