Opened in 2012 near the Marché des Enfants Rouges, Caractère de Cochon is a tiny charcuterie shop run by Solofo “Solo” Raveloson. There is a huge choice of charcuterie, with carefully sourced hams from across France and elsewhere in Europe, as well as saucissons, pâtés and terrines.
The shop is particularly famous for its excellent jambon-beurre, prepared to order with your choice of ham, butter and cornichons in a fresh baguette. Come early, as queues can get long.
