"I’ve stayed in plenty of Swiss grand hotels where the formality can feel stiff. La Réserve Eden au Lac breaks away from that. It’s playful without being gimmicky, described as an “Imaginary Yacht Club”. I love how Starck brought in warm earth tones, leather, wood and nautical accents that feel personal and not corporate. The location is great, too. The hotel sits directly on Lake Zurich's waterfront, a short walk from Bellevue and the Opera House. The Old Town (Altstadt) is only a 10-15 minute walk, making it one of the most convenient locations in the city for both lakefront calm and urban exploration."
