"Sublime Lisboa occupies a 20th-century Amoreiras townhouse containing fifteen rooms, each individually dressed, each carrying the original staircase, stucco and bay windows forward into something new. This is Lisbon without the usual city-hotel chaos. It’s set in a residential neighbourhood frequented by politicians, artists and journalists due to there being the city’s oldest garden, planted by Pombal in 1711.
