Editor’s Note
"Abruzzo remains one of Italy’s least visited regions, and deliberately so, for those who find it. In a 22-hectare valley outside Teramo, Panfilo Farmhouse is the restoration of a working agricultural estate: the childhood home of brothers Cristian and Pierpaolo, now run daily by their parents, Annamaria and Lino. The project is architectural in its rigour and domestic in its warmth. Reclaimed materials, centuries-old craft techniques and a kitchen rooted in the culinary traditions of the province define its character. It openly invites guests to its rural way of life."
