Review
Kiki’s Tavern is a true Mykonos institution. Despite its popularity in the summer months, it retains a genuinely authentic feel. This is a traditional Greek taverna in the purest sense: simple setting, charcoal grill and straightforward island cooking. The menu centres on classic staples prepared over open fire, including grilled octopus, fresh fish, calamari, pork chops, chicken and Greek salad. The focus is on freshness and honest flavours rather than presentation.
Kiki’s is strictly walk in only, with queues forming before opening. While waiting under the trees above Agios Sostis beach, the owner greets guests personally and often offers a glass of house wine. Relaxed and unpretentious, it remains one of the island’s most enduring tavernas.
