Review
Yushin is one of Paris’s most underrated Japanese restaurants, discreetly located in Neuilly near the Île de la Grande Jatte. The sushi here is excellent, whether enjoyed omakase-style at the counter or à la carte at the table, with daily arrivals ensuring absolute freshness. Behind the counter is chef Shuhei Yamashita, who grew up in a family of restaurateurs in Japan before moving to Paris, where he cooked at Kinugawa and later led the kitchen at RAN. At Yushin, he brings together precision, tradition, and a touch of creativity, making this hidden address well worth the detour.
