Review
Quality Wines is the Italian-Mediterranean-leaning cousin of The Quality Chop House, located just next door and sharing the same quietly assured ethos. The kitchen is headed by chef Nick Bramham, a chef driven as much by genuine curiosity and appetite as by technique.
The menu changes weekly and follows the seasons closely, moving effortlessly from spring lobster tagliatelle to slow-cooked lamb shoulder with merguez, or indulgent winter dishes such as a croque monsieur layered with black truffle. It’s generous, confident cooking that feels instinctive rather than contrived.
Wine is a central part of the experience, with one of the best-curated lists in London—thoughtful, characterful, and consistently exciting. At heart, Quality Wines remains a true neighbourhood restaurant, but one that rewards repeat visits and lingers long in the memory.
