I’ve always thought that Niko Romito’s cuisine at Bulgari has little in common with his three-Michelin-starred Reale in Castel di Sangro. At Reale, the cooking is intellectual and far from the international idea of “Italian food” most foreigners know—stripped back, precise, and thought-provoking. At Bulgari, it is the opposite: a crowd-pleasing vision of Italian luxury, with classics made exactly as you wish they would be. The cotoletta is thick, on the bone, perfectly pink in the middle; his tiramisu is simple, elegant, unforgettable.
At Il Ristorante — Niko Romito in the Bulgari Hotel Paris, the menu focuses on essential Italian flavors with clarity and refinement. The dining room, with just 26 tables, Parisian-style banquettes, and brass details crafted in Italy, opens onto a private garden that brings light and calm to the space. Italian dining at its most polished and accessible, yet still bearing Romito’s unmistakable imprint.
