In the heart of Old Nice, this local institution has been serving up authentic Niçoise street food since 1925—and it’s absolutely worth a visit. The socca, crisp and golden from the wood-fired oven, is a must-try and well worth the sometimes long queue at their original spot at 28 rue Droite. You’ll also find other Niçoise staples there, like pissaladière and tourte de blettes, all baked in a traditional oven from 1867. They also have a stand at the lively Cours Saleya market, where you can enjoy their iconic socca right in the middle of the city’s daily buzz. A true taste of Nice’s culinary roots.
