Review
Tucked behind the lively Le Bon Georges bistro, “Le Salon” is an intimate chef’s table where Loïc Lobet cooks for just a handful of guests. Here, the experience is entirely distinct from the main restaurant: two different rooms, two different menus. While the bistro serves Parisian bistro classics the chef’s table has no written menu—only the finest ingredients of the day, interpreted on the spot according to the chef’s inspiration. The atmosphere is convivial yet discreet, as if dining in a friend’s kitchen, with dishes that reflect both precision and generosity. From wild fish to carefully sourced French meats and vegetables, everything is treated with respect and a light touch. It feels like a well-kept secret in Paris, and one of the most rewarding discoveries I’ve made over the recent years.
