Auberge de la Môle, a modest inn just a 20-minute drive from Saint-Tropez, is for me one of the very few restaurants in the area that truly deserves a detour. It’s run by a young, charming couple who inherited the restaurant and continue to uphold the tradition of good, old-school French cooking with a Southwestern influence. When they say you shouldn’t eat breakfast before going to Auberge de la Môle, you’d better believe them. Despite the generous and rich offerings, it’s simply impossible to leave anything on the table.
Please note that it’s cash only.
