Pasta, Traditional

Review
Traditional trattoria in the village of Coloreto, just five minutes from Parma’s historic centre. Shaded by old plane trees, it captures the spirit of Emilia’s countryside villages and their culinary heritage. The kitchen stays true to tradition: handmade pasta, artisanal cured meats by carefully chosen producers, and gelato churned the old-fashioned way on a 1964 Carpigiani. Seasonal menus highlight local recipes with fresh and stuffed pasta, farmyard meats and game, while leaving room for lighter, more contemporary touches. The excellent selection of wines range from noble labels to small independent producers.
