Despite a short, 20-minute or so drive from central London, once you arrive at the one Michelin-starred The Dysart Petersham, you really feel like you are somewhere in the countryside. One of the most underrated fine dining restaurants in London, it is located in a beautiful, historical Arts and Crafts building with a view of Richmond Park. Led by Chef Kenneth Culhane, one of the nicest and most humble chefs in the UK, the cuisine is based on classical cooking using the best seasonal ingredients. The wine list is great and very reasonably priced, too. For me, a sign of a successful restaurant is whether I want to return soon, and as soon as I leave The Dysart Petersham, I want to go back.
