Bord — “table” in Swedish — is a modern bistro and neighbourhood restaurant with a very well-curated wine list featuring some very cool gems. Headed by Joël Aronsson, former chef at Fäviken, the cooking is driven by outstanding Scandinavian ingredients, shaped by clear Mediterranean influences and a strong respect for produce.
Scandinavian seafood shines in particular: the platter of langoustines with café butter is generous and precise, while Provençal-style monkfish shows the kitchen’s confident handling of fire and flavour. I also particularly loved the radicchio with pistachio and bottarga, the veal sweetbreads with harissa and tahini, and a beautifully balanced raspberry sorbet with bitter almond to finish.
